Troubles are brewing up for former US President Donald Trump in the hush money case amid allegations of paying porn star Stephanie Clifford, better known as Stormy Daniels, $130,000 in exchange for her silence about an affair she claimed to have with Trump in 2006. The case will be taken up next week.
Earlier, Daniels shared enough information with lawyers, the court, and the media to nail the Republican hopeful for the 2024 US Presidential Election.
Talking to 'In Touch' magazine in 2011, Stormy Daniels revealed her sexual encounter with Donald Trump, and said that it was "not crazy". When they met next time, they just saw a "Shark Week" documentary.
According to 'Forbes', Daniels told journalist Jacob Weisberg of 'Slate' that her relationship with Trump lasted nearly a year and the GOP leader promised her to buy a condo and feature her as a contestant on "Celebrity Apprentice." She also claimed that her attorney had negotiated a six-figure deal with former Trump attorney Michael Cohen to buy her silence.
Way back in 2018, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump agreed to pay $130,000 to Daniel to stop her from talking about their 2006 affair.
Talking to CNN journalist Anderson Cooper, Stormy Daniels said that the statement recounting the affair was a "lie". She also said that she participated because those involved "made it sound like I had no choice."
